Tim Olson made history this year for Homecoming at the University of South Carolina.
Tim is the first Homecoming King to represent his fraternity Kappa Upsilon Chi.

After being presented to over 80,000 people during halftime at the Homecoming game, and thousands of peers knowing his name, how has Tim remained humble?
Brittain Bass also known as "Bubba," is a close fraternity brother of Tim's.

And Tim's work isn't done just yet.

This past Saturday Tim and Homecoming Queen JennaMarie Hill took their own initiative to make a difference.
Joining forces with Capstone scholars, the Theta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and Carolina students, Tim and JennaMarie volunteered at John P. Thomas Elementary School.

They uprooted trees, cleaned out a pond, and cleared out waste so that students will have a safe place to play outside during school.
Although Tim says the University hasn't provided many outlets or events during his reign so far, he is still grateful for the opportunity.
